Melissa Wheeler

Melissa is a seasoned investment management executive with more than 20 years of experience spanning compliance, operations, and financial oversight. She has most recently served as Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Compliance Officer, leading operational and regulatory functions. Melissa has applied her broad industry experience and deep knowledge to the several roles she currently holds.

Before serving in her current roles, Melissa was Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer at Criterion Capital Management, a San Francisco–based equity long/short investment firm. Prior to that, she was a Senior Principal Consultant at ACA Compliance Group, advising hedge funds and investment managers on operational risk and regulatory compliance.

A Certified Public Accountant by training, Melissa began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers and later served at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. She holds an MS in Accounting and a BS in Finance from the University of Colorado Boulder.
